LICORICE

Style #: 1009

Licorice the cat was first introduced in the 1988 Flyer along with Angel #1001, Peaches #1003,  Ginger #1005, and Smokey #1007. This was the first series of long-haired cats after the retirement of the 1986 plush cat line.

no beans in feet

Tush tag version 1g: 1987 thumb period, 7 without a hook, no beans in feet, felt ears, old style acetate bow, should be paired with 1b hang tag. 

~BEANS IN FEET~

When first released, flat-style plush had beans in their belly but not in their feet. This changed with the second wave of 1b, which now had beans in both their belly and feet.

Tush tag version 1g: thumb period 7 with a hook, with beans in feet, velour ears, old styled acetate bow, should be paired with 1b banner hang tag, third run with large font or possibly 1c TYWL hang tag.

Tush tag version 1g: thumb comma 7 without a hook with beans in feet, should be paired with new styled satin bow, should be paired with TYWL hang tag.

Tush tag version 1g: ducky comma 7 with a hook, for ages 3 and up, CONTENTS, IL – , missing bow and hang tag (hang tag would be 2A.2gtm or 3B)

At this point forward the ear switch from the shaved ears to the flat material
