At the launch of Beanie Babies, nine styles were included in the 1994 catalog, now referred to as the “original 9” Beanie Babies, including Spot, Squealer, Brownie, Chocolate, Legs, Flash, Splash, Patti, and Pinchers.

1994 Mid-year
1995
Valentino premiered alongside the entire collection of Teddys in this “New Face” style. Nip, Zip, and Quackers, now designed with wings also joined this release!
Nip and Zip were quickly redesigned in a short run of solid colors.
1995 Mid-Year
Royal Blue Peanut, Nana and Spook were quickly transitioned to Light Blue Peanut, Bongo and Spooky. Happy was also changed to a Lavendar color around this time.
1996
Along with these releases, Nip and Zip have been designed now with white socks.
