Pouncer was released as part of the 1994 mid year release attic treasures. 

Pouncer’s tush tag will always be located on the left leg. This is often referred to the “same ears” Pouncer. Pouncer’s tush tag will always be located on the left leg.

CHRONOLOGY

Pouncer was first issued with a coral bow and rose nose, solid in fur color, 1B tush tag and Korea hang tag. 

Pouncer was then issued with a coral bow, pink nose, White tip tail, white mouth with white left ear, version 3 tush tag and Korea hang tag.  This is often referred to the “different” ears Pouncer.

No changes but was also issued with version 4 tush tag.

No changes but was also issued with version 6 tush tag.

No changes but was also issued with 1993 version tush tag.

No changes but was also issued with Canadian tush tag.

Paw pad and thread color changes, the first two are the first two solid versions and the last two are version 3 and 5. First is white, then variations of peach.

KEY

BBC = refers to the 2nd generation hang tag stating “Beanie Babies Collection” erroneously. 

ATC = refers to the 2nd generation hang tag corrected to “The Attic Treasures Collection”.

SP = SAFETY PRECATION (version of 5th gen noted by the fact that earliest versions of 5th generation did not have this stated on the back of those tags)

WL = Waterloo (address noted on early 5th generation hang tags)

WL.1 vs. WL.2 = spacing on the left of the tag changed noted on the attic treasure hang tag page & 5G page.

FH = FH Fareham (address noted on later 5th generation hang tags)

HK = Hong Kong (earliest version of the 1G hang tag stating “printed in Hong Kong”)

US = United States version

UK = United Kingdom version

CA = Canadian version

DE = German (Deutschland) version
