The complete analysis of 3rd Generation plush hang tags
3A
1) 3A is the first run of the third generation hang tag, the entirety of the printing has been carried over from the 2nd generation hang tag.
There are UK and DE (Deutschland/Germany) versions of this tag.
This is the only 3g tag that does not also come in a small version tag, later tags come in beanie baby sized 3g tags for baby sized 12″ plush .
Baby 3A Plush: Baby PJ, Baby Curly, Baby Curly Bunny, Tango, Rascal, Sahara, Bengal, Arctic, Dakota, Nibbles.
Sugar was the first plush produced in China, this means it was produced with a very special tag. Seen below the tag notes “Handmade in China”, this line was added in Arial font. This likely implies Sugar was never produced with a 2g tag.

3B tags will also all have small tag versions for baby sized plush which were all made in china. The company statement on the left is now replaced with the list of company addresses. Large tags are all made in both Korea and China.
2) 3B 36.1 This tag states for ages 36 months and only has one copywrite symbol on the inside left of the hang tag.
The two versions of small tags seem to differ only by the font on the numbers of the barcode.
2) 3b 36.2 This tag states for ages 36 months and has three copywrite symbols on the inside left of the hang tag.
3) 3B CCE (Child CE) This tag states for “child” and still retains its CE symbol.
As the 36.2 tag transitioned to this tag the remainder of 36.2 tags were altered by placing a sticker on the back of the tag to make it appear like the Child CE tag as seen below.
I have yet to locate a large handmade in China variation of these tags with or without sticker. I have also not located a small child CE tag with the correction sticker.
4) 3B Child WL (Waterlooville, Hants) This tag states for “child” and no longer retains its CE symbol, all of the addresses remain as before including the Waterlooville, Hants address.
The remainder tags will all have no CE on the back of the tag except for those located in the UK, they will have a UK version of each tag noted by the added CE which is printed in a more narrow crisp font.
5) 3B FH (Fareham, Hants) This tag has changed the address from Waterlooville to Fareham, Hants.
6) 3B CA (Canada) This tag has changed the address for Germany to Canada. Ty UK Ltd. is now Ty Europe Ltd.

This second version of the small hang tag has some font and spacing size changes.
The variations of large tag have some slight changes in font size on the back of the tag, barcode numbers change. The most notable change is the “to__from__with love” is no longer times new roman but arial and is no longer italicized.
The variations of small tag have some slight changes in font size on the addresses also the version line “Handmade in china” is indented on 2. The size of the barcode numbers on version 1 match previous versions and version 2 barcode number size appears to be new.
