The exhaustive summary of versions below is far more meticulous than necessary to simply enjoy collecting plush. This is the TyPlushArchive! so every detail must be charted. I went through the trouble of dissecting every detail of the plush tush tag to fill the gaps where I could not find an example with tag. For those looking for information for selling purposes, you do not need this level of detail, this is a waste of your time. Simply list your push with the title stating the tush tag year in the title with pictures of each side of the hang tag and tush tag will be appreciated.

The particularly darker tipped fabric seen on one side of McGEE’s face is obvious when directly observing the plush. The ears are more similar to previous versions and only about 30% is covered with this darker fabric.
McGEE 2A.2gtm
Tush tag version 1g: ducky comma 7 with a hook, for ages 3 and up, CONTENTS, IL – , with satin / cut bow and 2A.2gtm hang tag (hang tag can also be 3B)

This additional tag was added as he was originally sold as a gift shop “Bobby Bare Trap” which I believe is a venue owned and operated by the country musician “Bobby Bare”.
McGEE 2G-3B
Tush tag version 2g-3b, satin bow, paired with 2b-3b hang tag.
Also found with UK Red back or UK sticker hang tag and also Canadian tush tag.
This McGEE appears to have its final small snout however the hang tags produced during the “ages 5 and up” era around 1992 usually had this problem of the hole punch not working correctly. McGEE since he does not have PVC pellets since 1990 never had to adjust its age limit to ages 5. So this bear was made in 1992 with a “ages 3 and up” tag while most other plush produced in 1992 had “ages 5 and up tags”
McGEE 2G-3B
UK Sticker
Tush tag version 2g-3b with 2b-3b hang tag UK sticker.
Example not available, please Email us if you have this version in any condition.
McGEE 2G-3W.1
Tush tag version 2g-3w 25mm satin bow, paired with 2b-3w.1 hang tag.
Also found with UK Red back or UK sticker hang tag and also Canadian tush tag.
This McGEE appears to have its final small snout.
This McGEE has a tush tag that has an iridescent appearance. Most other plush this occurs during the late “ages 5 and up” time period. This would put this McGEE at around 1993.
