Abby the bear was released as part of the “1995 Collection” with a patent publication date of 11-5-1994 registered on 12-15-1994.

Abby is found with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generation hang tags and 1st generation Version 5, 6, 6UK, 8, 10.4, 2nd generation, Canadian version 2 paper type, and burgundy tush tags.

Close up view of the rose on Abby’s overalls for 6th generation.  The first two have the earlier “Ty Collectibles” tag and have a larger rose but the first has a mono toned purple corduroy overalls, the second and third have the two toned corduroy overalls that are lighter in color at the tips of each ridge.  Only “The Attic Treasures Collection” tagged one has the smaller rose making each combination unique.
