Regional and Temporary Tags
Documented separately from the nine-generation sequence.
Type
Description
Canadian black & white
Canadian issue, black and white.
Canadian burgundy
Canadian issue, burgundy.
Temporary / tacked
Attics appearing in Canada carried three tush tags: the burgundy American, a black & white without registration number, and a temporary tag carrying the registration number, attached with a fastener similar to the hang tag’s.
Hand-tacked
Most Attic Treasures have machine-sewn tush tags, but some are hand tacked. There is also evidence of older black & white tags being removed and replaced with a tacked tag.

Hang Tag Pairings
574 hang tag and tush tag combinations are documented across 233 Attic Treasures. Some tush tags do not appear to have been used in any strict order, so combinations overlap between generations.
