Chronology
Digby was first issued with a teal bow, humpback 1A “Large” tush tag and Hong Kong hang tag. This is confirmed with a production prototype example with identical tags. These were issued with teal bow cut vertically. If you look carefully you may note a few variations of paw pad color from light brown to beige.
I was able to obtain this example of Digby humpback from a thrift store on a trip in Chicago in the Naperville area. This example also with teal unstitched bow cut vertically.
Digby with straight back
Digby was then issued with straight back, a teal bow, 1B tush tag and Hong Kong hang tag. Earlier example have vertical cut bow but are also found with flat cut bow.
Variation of the 1B tush tag with alternate font, identified with flat cut bow and both Hong Kong and Korea hang tags.
Version 2 tush tag, identified with flat cut unstitched bow and Korea hang tag. This example was obtained in Canada with sweater bearing a Canadian clothing tag.
This example however has a canadian tush tag, with flat cut stitched bow and Korea hang tag with sweater bearing a Canadian clothing tag.
