Henry

Style #: 6005

Henry Gold

The example above center is Harry the original prototype for Henry, he is much smaller and in fact smaller than Woolie gold

Henry Gold is one of the original 12 and is found exclusively with an artist tush tag and blue bow.  A very early example provided by the designer Ruth Fraser was produced with a red bow.

Comparison of the two runs of Henry gold.

Henry Gold was first issued with a blue bow artist tush tag and Hong Kong hang tag. This example seems to be set apart by its thicker shorter limbs much like Super Reggie. This Henry also has its bow cut along the same angle on either side of its bow, an attribute common among early issues of attic treasures. Most henry golds from this run seem to have a humpback.

This variation of henry gold being issued first is further confirmed by this example documented by Ruth Fraser from the first shipment.

Henry Gold with a blue bow artist tush tag and Hong Kong hang tag. This example seems to be a different run or possibly a different seamstress or factory. This variation is set apart by its slender long limbs with its bow cut flat on both sides.  The ears on this run also seem to be more pronounced.

Henry Brown

Henry was then issued in a brown color which did appear in the original 1993 catalog, in the group photo his color was darkened with photo editing for the catalog as seen above.
