LICORICE

Style #: 1009

Licorice the cat was first introduced in the 1988 Flyer along with Angel #1001, Peaches #1003,  Ginger #1005, and Smokey #1007. This was the first series of long-haired cats after the retirement of the 1986 plush cat line.

no beans in feet

Tush tag version 1g: 1987 thumb period, 7 without a hook, no beans in feet, felt ears, old style acetate bow, should be paired with 1b hang tag. 

~BEANS IN FEET~

When first released, flat-style plush had beans in their belly but not in their feet. This changed with the second wave of 1b, which now had beans in both their belly and feet.

Tush tag version 1g: thumb period 7 with a hook, with beans in feet, velour ears, old styled acetate bow, should be paired with 1b banner hang tag, third run with large font or possibly 1c TYWL hang tag.

Tush tag version 1g: thumb comma 7 without a hook with beans in feet, should be paired with new styled satin bow, should be paired with TYWL hang tag.

Tush tag version 1g: birdy comma 7 with a hook, regular brown edge, with beans in feet, new styled satin bow, should be paired with 1c TYWL hang tag.

Tush tag version 1g: ducky comma 7 with a hook dark brown edge, OAKBROOK, IL period CONTENS, 3+, with beans in feet, new styled satin bow, paired with 2a.2GTM hang tag.

Licorice 2A.2Gtm

Tush tag version 1g: ducky comma 7 with a hook, for ages 3 and up, CONTENTS, OAKBOOK Il period, should be paired with 2A.2Gtm hang tag.

1997 re-release

In 1997 Ty re-released Angel and Licorice in smaller 10″ sizes.
