Sara

Sara the bunny rabbit is one of the original 12 attic treasures.

Sara was first issued with a pink bow artist tush tag and HK hang tag. The bow is cut vertical on one side and flat on the other.  Important note, Linda Harris did not Design Sara, this is an original Ty design. It is believed the artist tush intended for Woolie ended up on Sara and Jeremy.

Sara’s second issue is found with a 1A “woolie” tush tag and Hong Kong hang tag. This issue has a stiffer slick looking pink bow that holds a very sharp appearance. The bow is cut flat on both sides.

Sara’s third issue is found with a 1B tush tag and Hong Kong hang tag. The bow is cut flat on both sides.

Sara’s fourth issue is found with a version 2 tush tag and Hong Kong hang tag. The bow is cut vertically on both sides.

Sara’s fifth issue is found with a version 4 tush tag and Korea hang tag. The stitched bow is cut flat on both sides.

Sara’s sixth issue is found with a version 6 tush tag and Korea hang tag. The stitched bow is cut flat on both sides.

Not too much variation  in color, stitching from brown to rust, AT, 1B, versions 2, 4. Sara will be found in a full spectrum of hot pink to white paw pads but this is mostly to do with fading, if you inspect the crease of her ears or her hands this helps identify the true shade she initially had.

Sumary

The artist tush series of Sara has a lot of variation in the construction of her face so I have added several that have passed through my collection to appreciate this runs many faces.  Others who share this quality are Woolie, Jeremy, SUPER Reggie, and SUPER Gilbert, the first run of Tyler and Clifford also seem to have some variability also. Dexter seems to vary in ear placement.

This directly compares similar face variation that matches both Jeremy and Sara.
